Practice the art of appreciation
Learn to practice the art of appreciation and you will create your life, your way
Have you been hearing lately of the Law of Attraction? Have you heard someone mention the Secret?
I imagine that you have heard, read or seen something about it.
So, what is this law? Put very simply it is this – like attracts like, birds of a feather flock together, what we reap so shall we sow and there are many more of these old clichés that we live with every single day.
The Law states that what we think about is what we will attract into our lives. In other words, what we spend our time focusing on will surely manifest into our physical reality, yes?
And yet, every day I hear from people who have taken the principles taught in the Secret and faithfully put them to use only to have no change in their physical life experience. How is this so?
It is important that you understand that while the Law of Attraction is true and is always working, whether you believe it or not, there is more to this than has been touched on in the many books and movies that are now bringing the worlds attention toward all things metaphysical.
There is another lesser know universal law which takes you beyond the processes of visualizing, journaling and dream boards.
The Law of Allowing
Once you have made your choices about what you want and started some of the aforementioned processes, you have to then ALLOW what you have asked for to come to you.
One way to ALLOW all that you want to be, do and have to come into your current physical experience is by seeking your own unshakeable sense of happiness.
The fastest way to happiness FROM WHERE YOU STAND RIGHT NOW isthrough the Art of Appreciation.
Appreciating what you are currently living, while dreaming of what you want in the future, allows your dreamt-of future to become your reality.
I hear you now asking ‘but how can I possibly appreciate anything in my horrible, miserable life right now, it sucks!’ and I can certainly see where you are coming from with your statement.
My reaction before becoming aware of the power of this art was exactly that and having embraced appreciation of even the worst situations in my life and coming out the other end with an unshakeable sense of inner peace and happiness I would urge you to try it and see your life change.

I developed and use to make appreciating a simple part of every day.
Let’s start with some appreciating of the home you are living in. You may not particularly like the house and you might be starting to visualize and ask for something bigger and much better but let’s just start where we are and with what we have now.
Be grateful for the fact that you have a roof over your head to keep you dry, a stove to cook a nice hot dinner now that the nights are getting cooler, a bathroom in which to showerand wash away the days worries.
Now you must focus on the good only and ignore that your reality is actually a 15 year old stove that is starting to rust and smoke up the kitchen every time you use it. Thank that stoveand only see the good it does for you.
Practice the Art of Appreciation in this way for 21 days and you will see your relationship with the object you are appreciating improve dramatically…and don’t be surprised if somehow you become the proud owner of a new stove.
As you appreciate what you are currently living that big, roomy, comfortable family home you have been dreaming of will make its way to you.
Try it! It will change your life.
